Top Distributor Deep Dive: #7 NPN360
NPN360 landed at No. 7 on the 2020 Top Distributor list in the June/July issue of PS Magazine this year, staying steady with 2019. In this year’s Top Distributor survey, NPN360 said its goal for 2020 was to eclipse $50 million in revenue. The company also said morale and pride increased (along with employee recruiting and retention success) after moving into a new office space. We wanted to follow up with NPN360 on their thoughts now that the world is markedly different, so we spoke with President Artie Collins.
When did NPN360 move to a new office space? Are your employees mostly back in the office, or are many of them working remotely now?
We moved to the new space in October 2019, but we’ve staggered our team’s return to the office since COVID-19. We were operating 100% remote until mid-July when we switched to a hybrid model of partial staff coming in.
What is different about the new space that you think helped increase morale and pride?
We have been told it is a really cool space with a layout that cultivates collaboration and sharing. Our town hall/gathering area is a big hit as well with our team.
Did COVID-19 affect NPN360’s hopes to eclipse $50 million in revenue this year?
Definitely. We still have a slim chance to get there but will have to close out the second half of the year REALLY strong.
What new goals or hopes do you have for this now drastically different year?
Our main goal now is to make sure our team stays healthy, and to provide them the tools and resources to effectively service our clients while working remotely or in the office. I always knew we had a great team here, but the way everyone has pulled together and supported one another the past five months has been remarkable. We are truly blessed to be surrounded by such conscientious, caring people.
Any other thoughts about what being a top distributor and a solutions architect means in these times?
Everything we do is with our customer in mind. Our approach is no different: We strive to make our customers shine! If we all continue to do the right thing, positive results will follow.
